CARPINTERIA FLEA CONTROL

At Carpinteria Valley Exterminating, we understand how troublesome and, at times, painful fleas can be. Our two-step flea treatment process ensures effective and lasting results for both homes and businesses. We begin with an initial treatment that targets fleas currently present and includes Insect Growth Regulators (IGRs) to prevent them from reproducing. Flea eggs can remain dormant for up to a year and may hatch not only in the summer but also in the winter when indoor heating raises temperatures above 72 degrees or when sunlight streams through windows. A follow-up treatment, about two weeks later, ensures any newly hatched fleas are effectively eliminated. Plus, we’ll treat your yard if needed, since fleas often infest grass, planters, and other areas on the property.Additionally, it’s important to note that pets, like cats and dogs, can track fleas from the yard or other locations into your home. To help ensure the best outcome, we ask that you have your pets treated by your veterinarian. This helps prevent the reintroduction of fleas into your home and effectively turns your pets into a deterrent against fleas.
